The Hindu Samaj Swindon Centre officially opened its doors to the community with a grand inauguration ceremony on Saturday, 3rd September 2022. At the time, there was no Mandir or dedicated community centre serving Swindon, so this centre filled an important gap by providing the town a space for Hindus and other local communities.

The Mandir Room within the centre houses the historic Moortis from Swindon’s first Hindu Mandir, which was established by the Adhen family in Freshbrook in 1997.
