Our yoga instructor, Surekha, is a BRITISH WHEEL OF YOGA QUALIFIED TEACHER FOR 13 years and with overall 42 years experience.

YOGA can be practiced to gain both physical and mental benefits. Practicing yoga is a relatively low-risk, high-yield approach to improving overall health.

It has been shown to increase flexibility, muscle strength and tone, improve heart health, relieve back pain and help alleviate the pain and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis.

For our mental health, yoga has been shown to improve body image, increase self-confidence and reduce stress and anxiety as well as boosting mood.

If you tell Surekha your ailments she ensures that correct breathing and asanas are done properly and she checks and corrects them during the class.

Surekha practices many forms of Yoga, but she starts with Hatha Yoga, which comprises of :

  • Controlled Breathing exercise (Pranayama)
  • ⁠Practice of yoga postures(Asanas)
  • ⁠Emphasis on Relaxation and Mindfulness
  • ⁠Progressing to Hatha Flow.

Our classes are beginner friendly with each session 1.5hrs in duration.
